Iain and Rebecca's Spring Wedding

Recently I had the great privilege of photographing a beautiful wedding for a family I have known for a long time. Thank you Rebecca and Iain for a fabulous day, I hope that the photos will do the day justice I thought I would share just one with you as it was one of my favourites. I love photographing Weddings at any time of year Winter Weddings, Summer Weddings but its hard to beat a Spring Wedding when there is a Bluebell Wood just a few miles from the church.

Happy Birthday Your Majesty

Today marks the 90th Birthday of our Queen a remarkable lady who has been our Monarch for longer than any other. She has served  her country with devotion and dedication.

Whilst I have not been lucky enough to actually meet the Queen I have seen  photographed her on many occasions. So to celebrate her special day here is a selection of my favourite photos I have taken over the years.

A chance encounter with a Kingfisher

Sometimes you plan a shoot to the last detail and nothing goes how you intended. Sometimes you just happen to be in the right place at the right time with a camera in your hand. This morning whilst out shooting for a local calendar I spotted a Kingfisher darting up and down the river, so I dashed back to the car grabbed the telephoto lens and went to see if I could see him again. Rounding the corner of the bridge I saw him sitting on the branch of a small tree oblivious of me he carried on fishing as I took loads of photos. I watched him for over an hour diving into the crystal clear water

Spring Wedding 16.04.16

On Saturday I photographed my first Spring Wedding of the year, a lovely day, a little chilly at times, but a wedding with a real country feel to it. Kirsten and Adam got married in a small country church, in a pretty Wiltshire village, the brides horses came to the church for photos after  the ceremony and the couple left in an open topped Land rover. Congratulations to the happy couple and thank you for making me feel so welcome on your big day.

Bellowhead Farewll Tour - Salisbury City Hall

Fabulous night photographing an amazing group of musicians up close and personal.  I photograph events and weddings all over the South West but sometimes it nice to photograph a band whose music you really like. Sad to see Bellowhead disbanding thanks for all the music and great gigs guys.
